Thank you for the opportunity to represent Chisago County in the Minnesota House of Representatives!
Two years ago, you elected me to make politics work for people again. And we did it.

The Minnesota legislature finished our work on time and on budget for both of my first two years in the House. We delivered a lot of positive results for Chisago County and for Minnesota.
We passed my Military and Overseas Voting Bill to make sure that our troops will be guaranteed their right to have their votes counted.
We enacted the historic 2008 Transportation Bill to bring $15.5 million in new state funds to fix Chisago County’s roads, to replace the North Branch bridge, and start new commuter bus service.
In this tough economy, we helped create 40,000 private sector jobs with our Bonding and Transportation Bills.
We invested more money in Minnesota’s schools than ever before, and we ended the era of double digit tuition hikes at our colleges and universities.
I authored the country's strongest Renewable Energy Standard, and chief-authored the nation-leading Energy Efficiency and Conservation Bill. We also created the Green Jobs Task Force to turn our environmental leadership into 21st-century jobs and economic opportunity.
We enacted significant Health Care Reforms, including establish uniform billing and electronic medical record systems. We also covered 100,000 more Minnesotans, including 31,000 more children.
And we took significant steps toward Property Tax Reform, limiting property tax levy increases to just 3.9% a year, and increasing the direct property tax rebate fund by $25 million.
The 2008 Legislative Session was the most productive in many, many years. We achieved so much by working together - by putting people before politics.
I am honored and humbled to serve as your State Representative. I hope that I have earned your vote and your trust again.
Please join me in making the people's work more important than political games by volunteering or contributing to the campaign.
Thank you!
- Jeremy
